Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – $30–$34/hr

Home Care Nurses America (HCNA) partners with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, and specialty clinics across the United States to provide qualified healthcare professionals. We are currently seeking experienced Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to join our team as W2 per diem or contract casual employees supporting healthcare facilities across the NorthAustin area.

In this role, you will provide safe, high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with physicians, Registered Nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams. Assignments may take place in skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, long-term care facilities, hospitals, or specialty clinics based on facility needs.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with clinical standards and facility protocols
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to supervising clinicians or physicians
• Administer medications and treatments within LVN scope of practice
• Assist with wound care, treatments, and implementation of patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Follow infection control procedures and patient safety guidelines at all times
• Comply with OSHA, HIPAA, and Texas healthcare regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Active Texas LVN License in good standing with the Texas Board of Nursing
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in SNF, rehabilitation, LTAC, or hospital settings
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Ability to pass background screening, drug testing, and credential verification
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
