Position: Licensed Vocational Nurse - LVN
Location: Waco, TX 76708
Duration: 8 weeks (Possible extension)
Pay rate: $36 - 40/hr.
Setting: Behavioral health
Schedule: 6 AM - 2 PM (Mon - Fri), 40 hours weekly
Overview: Seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide nursing care in a behavioral health treatment setting serving youth. Working under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Manager, the LVN is responsible for delivering direct patient care, administering medications and treatments, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting a safe, therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver direct nursing care to patients under the supervision of the RN and Nurse Manager.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and safely.
Provide medication education to patients as appropriate.
Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record.
Perform computer data entry and utilize electronic healthcare systems (training provided).
Observe, assess, and report changes in patient condition to the supervising RN.
Qualifications
Current, unrestricted Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
At least 1 year of LPN experience is required
