Job Duties
The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) is recruiting for a Licensing Inspector for the Piedmont Region, which includes the cities of Lynchburg, Roanoke, Danville, Farmville, and among others, to provide regulatory support and oversight by evaluating applicants; conducting interviews, onsite and hybrid inspections, and virtual record reviews; recommending providers for approval to offer child care; and investigating health and safety complaints in child care settings.
