Licensing Manager, Technology Transfer
Join our team as a Licensing Manager, where you'll play a key role in advancing innovative projects that bring ideas from concept to impact. In this position, you'll work closely with leadership to support and manage a dynamic portfolio of technology transfer initiatives.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with the Director of Technology Transfer to support and advance departmental priorities and strategic projects
- Take primary ownership of assigned projects and case management, ensuring timely progress and successful outcomes
- Provide consultation and guidance across a range of technology transfer cases and initiatives
- Interpret and apply organizational policies related to intellectual property and technology transfer activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to facilitate efficient project execution and decision-making
- Help maintain consistency, quality, and compliance across all technology transfer processes
What You Bring:
- Experience managing projects or cases in technology transfer, research administration, or a related field
- Strong ability to analyze, interpret, and apply policies and procedures

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
- 1. Master's degree in a scientific field and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time relevant experience in technology transfer, intellectual property management or related environment; or
- 2. Bachelor's degree in a scientific field and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time relevant experience in technology transfer, intellectual property management or related environment.
- NOTE: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in a science or technical field, and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time relevant experience in technology transfer, intellectual property management or related environment, or
- Master's degree in a scientific field, the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time relevant experience in technology transfer, intellectual property management or related environment; and RTTP or CLP certification, or
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field, the equivalent of six (6) years of full-time relevant experience in technology transfer, intellectual property management or related environment, and RTTP or CLP certification.
