Licensing Specialist

Position Details:• The Licensing Specialist is responsible for overseeing the licensing and credentialing• process for clinicians and medical providers across our nationwide practice. This role ensures that all• necessary licenses are obtained, renewed, and maintained in compliance with state regulations. The ideal• candidate will serve as the primary point of contact between state licensing boards, clinicians, and• internal teams, ensuring an efficient and streamlined process.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Licensing & Credentialing Process Process clinician licensing applications and renewals. Verify and maintain accurate provider credentialing documentation. Ensure provider licenses are current, in good standing, and renewed as needed. Complete provider applications based on team direction.

Regulatory Compliance & Documentation Maintain knowledge of state licensing requirements and regulations. Ensure compliance with credentialing policies, procedures, and industry standards. Maintain accuracy of provider data in credentialing database systems.

Provider & State Board Liaison Act as a liaison between clinicians and state licensing boards. Communicate licensing requirements and application status updates. Follow up with state boards and providers to ensure timely approvals.

Database & Record Management Set up and maintain provider information in credentialing databases. Monitor tasks assigned to both administrators and clinicians within the credentialingsystem. Maintain strict confidentiality of credentialing and licensing files.

Communication & Reporting Keep management informed of progress and escalate issues related to license status asneeded. Ensure effective follow-up and communication with providers and licensing entities.

Education Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience 2+ years of experience in licensing, credentialing, or healthcare administration Experience with credentialing databases and licensing platforms preferred

Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of state licensing requirements and medical credentialing processes Excellent communication and customer service skills Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and credentialing database systems Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle several tasks simultaneously with minimalerrors

Salary Range: $30.00 - $40.00 an hour
