Position Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to provide clinical social work support in an Adult and Pediatric Emergency Department. The role focuses on crisis intervention, risk assessments, and behavioral health support for adult and pediatric patients.

Required Qualifications

• License as a Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Independent Clinical Social Worker
• Independent or Associate license accepted
• Washington State license pending at submission is acceptable
• Experience conducting crisis risk assessments for adults and pediatric patients
• Ability to provide clinical social work support in an Emergency Department
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct crisis risk assessments for adult and pediatric patients
• Provide clinical social work support in the Emergency Department
• Assist patients and families experiencing behavioral health and psychosocial crises
• Collaborate with emergency department staff and interdisciplinary teams
• Float between units as needed
• Provide the same clinical duties at another assigned hospital location if required due to staffing needs
