As a Lien Negotiating Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and resolving workers’ compensation lien disputes. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our clients and the efficiency of our operations. Job Description & Responsibilities
Manage Account Inventory: Efficiently handle and prioritize a portfolio of lien accounts.
Create Plans of Action: Develop strategic plans to address and resolve lien disputes.
Professional Communication: Engage professionally with clients and healthcare providers to negotiate and settle liens.
Legal Documentation: Prepare, review, and submit necessary legal documents with precision and accuracy.
Medical Record Review: Analyze and summarize complex medical records to support lien negotiations.
Legal Analysis: Assess and formulate compelling legal arguments for effective lien negotiations.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in workers’ compensation lien negotiations.
Certification: IEA Certificate or Certificate of Self Insurance is a plus.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of California Labor Code statutes, Rules and Regulations, case law, and California fee schedules.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Pressure Handling: Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Team Player: Enjoys working collaboratively within a team setting.
