LIEN ADMINISTRATOR
Job Summary
This role is responsible for maintaining accurate records regarding NTOs and lien releases. The ideal candidate will have experience with preparing and managing lien releases and lien waivers for construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and file in and out-of-state NTO’s, lien releases and bond claims.
- Manage and process lien releases and sworn statements of account (SSAs)
- Cross-train to process and post chargebacks, wire transfers, cash receipts, returned checks and intercompany transactions.
- Maintain NTO spreadsheet & notify Credit Manager of upcoming lien deadlines.
Qualifications
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe.
- Knowledge of accounting and management principles and accounts receivable procedures.
- Willingness to collaborate with others within the accounting department and through the Company.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting or a related field, from an accredited college or university OR AA/AS degree with 1 year of experience in accounting or related field OR 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in corporate accounting or accounts receivable role.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to read, speak, and understand English.
