Life Enrichment CoordinatorWe are seeking a caring, energetic, and organized Life Enrichment Coordinator to help plan and lead engaging programs that support residents’ social, emotional, intellectual, physical, and spiritual well-being. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating meaningful experiences, and helping residents feel connected, valued, and involved in daily community life. Key Responsibilities- Assist in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual activities for residents.
- Lead group and one-on-one programs that encourage participation, connection, and enjoyment.
- Learn residents’ interests, preferences, and needs to help create meaningful, person-centered activities.
- Support resident assessments, activity care planning, documentation, attendance tracking, and progress notes as directed.
- Prepare activity areas, gather supplies, decorate, set up equipment, and clean up after programs.
- Coordinate with other departments, families, volunteers, and community partners to support resident engagement.
- Assist with special events, parties, games, crafts, religious services, outings, and field trips.
- Maintain resident confidentiality and follow facility policies, safety procedures, HIPAA expectations, and infection control guidelines.
- Report concerns, incidents, unsafe conditions, resident changes, or suspected policy violations promptly to the appropriate supervisor.

- Creativity and enthusiasm for developing activities, crafts, games, celebrations, and engaging daily programs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Good organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
- Ability to observe, document, and report resident participation, mood, behavior, and responses to activities.
- Willingness to attend required meetings, training, in-services, and facility programs.
- Experience in senior living, long-term care, recreation, activities, caregiving, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
- CNA certification within the state of Kansas is required.
- Activity Director certification or qualification is required.
Work Environment and Expectations- Work collaboratively with residents, families, staff, volunteers, and leadership to support a warm and positive environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, committee meetings, quality assurance activities, and surveys as needed.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, infection control, emergency preparedness, and confidentiality procedures.
- Use supplies and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support transportation arrangements and resident participation in outings or events when needed.
