Life Safety Maintenance Resource Position Type: Full Time, exempt employee. Salary: Compensation will be based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Location: This is a field-based role supporting our skilled nursing facilities across Florida. The ideal candidate must reside in Florida, preferably near Tallahassee, Tampa Bay, or Orlando area, and is expected to travel up to 90% of the time to manage projects across multiple locations. About the Opportunity: The Life Safety Maintenance Resource role supports the overall operation of the facility’s Maintenance Department by partnering closely with the Administrator and Maintenance Director. The focus is on ensuring the facility remains compliant with all federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining a safe, well-functioning environment. In this position, you will provide site assessments, guide maintenance teams through best practices, and support key programs such as Life Safety, Emergency Preparedness, and Water Management. You will help develop and train Maintenance Directors, lead ongoing audits, and promote strong communication and teamwork across the market. This role also plays an important part in driving maintenance operations forward by supporting projects, managing vendor relationships, and helping improve processes that enhance efficiency, control costs, and maintain the overall quality and safety of each facility.
