This position is to provide comprehensive institutional safety and emergency management services to Beaufort Memorial and facilities associated with the hospital.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
Associate's or higher degree in science/environmental health & safety or related field plus two years of experience in emergency management or similar position, preferred
EXPERIENCE:
Prefer 2 year's experience in working closely with the Plant Services to understand daily routine, projects, and emergency response.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
To complete assigned duties, prioritize work orders / phone requests, and respond (along with necessary staff and contractors) to emergency issues throughout the hospital, and all properties owned or leased by Beaufort Memorial Hospital.
CERTIFICATIONS/ LICENSES:
None
NIMS Certification in relevant areas of Emergency Preparedness (100, 200, 700, 800, minimum)
