Qualifications:
Degree: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
Certification: Valid Texas teaching certificate with required secondary science or life science/biology endorsements (such as Grades 7-12).
Knowledge: Deep understanding of life science curricula, TEKS standards, and lab safety protocols.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Instruction: Plan and use effective lesson plans, labs, and instructional materials that match district guidelines and state standards.
Management: Create a safe, orderly, and positive environment for student learning in both the classroom and laboratory settings.
Assessment: Measure student progress regularly through formal and informal evaluations, projects, and tests.
Communication: Confer with parents, students, and admin team members regarding academic and behavioral progress.
