Description

The Science Team at Pride Health is supporting the Biotechnology organization and has an opening for a Life Sciences Commercial Support Specialist in Kennesaw, GA.
 
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Life Sciences Sales Support Specialist to support customers, sales operations, order fulfillment, and commercial activities for scientific and laboratory products.
 
The ideal candidate will have an educational or professional background in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related Life Sciences discipline and a strong interest in pursuing a commercial career within the Life Sciences industry.
 
This position is well suited for candidates with laboratory or scientific experience who are interested in transitioning into a customer-facing, sales support, or commercial role. Recent graduates and candidates currently pursuing an advanced degree may also be considered.
 
Additional Details:
Contract Length: 12 Months with the possibility of extensions  
Pay range: $20 to $26 per hour
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers throughout the order and sales process.
  • Support customer inquiries related to scientific products, laboratory applications, orders, quotations, and product information.
  • Prepare, enter, track, and manage customer quotes and sales orders.
  • Coordinate with sales, laboratory scientists, marketing, order fulfillment, shipping, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Provide customers with accurate product and application information and escalate technical questions when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate customer, account, quote, and order information in CRM and ERP systems.
  • Process and update customer records using Salesforce, Sage, SAP, or similar systems.
  • Follow up on sales leads, customer opportunities, quotations, and open orders.
  • Support domestic customers, international distributors, and global commercial teams.
  • Assist sales teams with pre-sales and post-sales activities.
  • Support customer follow-up and help resolve order, product, shipping, and service-related issues.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through timely and professional communication.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to improve sales operations and customer experience.
  • Collaborate with internal scientific and commercial teams to ensure customer needs are addressed accurately and efficiently.
 
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in customer service, sales support, technical support, laboratory operations, account management, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a commercial, sales, customer support, or business-facing career within the Life Sciences industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively with cross-functional teams.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Laboratory experience in molecular biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, chemistry, or a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting laboratory products, scientific instruments, reagents, consumables, or other Life Sciences products.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Sage, SAP, CRM, ERP, or order management systems.
  • Experience communicating scientific or technical information to customers.
  • Experience in technical support, applications support, inside sales, or scientific sales.
  • Current enrollment in a Master's or PhD program in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related Life Sciences discipline.
  • Recent Life Sciences graduates with strong communication skills and interest in commercial opportunities are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience supporting domestic or international customers, distributors, or commercial teams.
 
 
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
