    Life Sciences Licensing Associate Attorney

    AmLaw 50 Opportunity

    Compensation

    $310,000 – $390,000+

    A premier global law firm is seeking a Life Sciences Licensing Associate Attorney to join its New York office.

    This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, healthcare, and life sciences companies in sophisticated intellectual property licensing, technology transactions, and strategic collaborations.

    Ideal Background

    3–4 years of life sciences licensing and technology transactions experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

    • Experience representing biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, healthcare, life sciences, and emerging growth companies, as well as investors and strategic partners

    • Experience drafting and negotiating patent licenses, trademark licenses, technology licenses, software-as-a-service (SaaS) agreements, services agreements, distribution agreements, and other commercial technology agreements

    • Experience negotiating joint development agreements, collaboration agreements, strategic alliance agreements, technology transfer agreements, and research and development agreements

    • Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, public offerings, and other corporate transactions through intellectual property and technology due diligence

    • Experience conducting intellectual property, licensing, and technology transaction due diligence for complex corporate transactions

    • Familiarity with FDA-regulated products, patent portfolio strategy, commercialization, digital health, and university technology transfer is a plus

    • Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills

    • Ability to independently manage sophisticated licensing matters while maintaining significant client interaction

    • Excellent academic credentials

    J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

    New York bar admission required or ability to become admitted
