Compensation

$260,000 – $390,000+

A premier AmLaw 50 firm is seeking a Life Sciences Partnering & Licensing Associate Attorney to join its Boston office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, and life sciences companies in sophisticated strategic collaborations, licensing transactions, and commercial agreements.

Ideal Background

3–6 years of life sciences partnering, licensing, commercial transactions, or technology transactions experience gained at a national or international law firm or in-house legal department

• Experience representing biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostics, and other life sciences companies

• Experience structuring, drafting, and negotiating license agreements, collaboration agreements, co-development agreements, commercialization agreements, supply agreements, manufacturing agreements, research agreements, and other strategic commercial transactions

• Experience advising clients on intellectual property licensing, strategic alliances, joint development arrangements, and complex commercial relationships

• Experience supporting M&A transactions, venture financings, and other corporate transactions involving life sciences companies is a plus

Corporate transactional experience, patent experience, and/or a technical or scientific degree is a plus

• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and client counseling skills

• Ability to independently manage sophisticated commercial transactions while maintaining significant client interaction

• Excellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school

Massachusetts bar admission required or ability to become admitted
