About the Position
The Lifeguard Instructor is responsible for supporting upcoming and future lifeguard training needs across our aquatics programs. This is an as-needed instructional role designed to ensure consistent and high-quality training delivery aligned with MVP standards and safety expectations. Lifeguard Instructors hired will be responsible for independently leading American Red Cross lifeguard certification, recertification, and bridge courses. This position is a part of our Aquatics/Safety & Training Department reporting to the Safety & Training Manager.

Requirements
High school diploma or 16 years of age or older. Current American Red Cross Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR/AED certification. Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Certification. Demonstrated experience in independently running lifeguard training courses. Ability to manage full-day courses (approximately 10-12 hours per day). Strong communication, organization, and instructional skills. Ability to maintain professionalism, neutrality, and consistency in training delivery. Excellent First Aid skills. Excellent communication skills.

Applicants must be available the week of 05/16-05/22 to support preseason lifeguard trainings at our Crahen pool.
