We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Lifeguard to join our team with Bobby Januska in Monroe, NJ. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety and well-being of all guests by monitoring swimming areas, enforcing safety rules, and responding promptly to emergencies. Responsibilities- Monitor swimming areas to ensure the safety of all patrons.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, including performing rescues and administering first aid or CPR as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe pool environment by conducting regular inspections and reporting hazards.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures of the pool area.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members.
- Attend all required training sessions and maintain current lifeguard certifications.
Qualifications- Current lifeguard certification (e.g., American Red Cross, YMCA) required.
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification preferred.
- Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous lifeguard experience is a plus but not required.
Work EnvironmentThis position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and standing for extended periods. Lifeguards must be prepared to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
