Primary Responsibilities:- Keep swimmers safe with lifeguard supervision
- Maintains attentive position in the pool area at all times by walking and/or sitting while actively scanning the pool and pool area.
- Enforces safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents or casualties, makes rescues and administers first aid/CPR when necessary.
- Participates in training/in-service as required
Job Qualifications and Skills- Ability to work with children
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- High energy
- Strong work ethic
- Must pass background examinations prior to training
- Certificates and Licenses: Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certification required. In house training available.
