SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The person in this position is responsible for the safety and well-being of City swimming pool patrons. We are looking for enthusiastic, dependable, and focused individuals who enjoy working with people of diverse ages and backgrounds. They must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have the maturity to think and act quickly, problem solve, and perform effectively under pressure while maintaining a professional, helpful, and poised demeanor.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Lifeguards need to be certified with American Red Cross Certificate indicating Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED for the professional Rescuer. • Minimum age requirement is 16 years, Monday-Sunday, 11:30-8:30pm. Hours may vary.
