Turn on your Island Charm... Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach is looking for a Lifestyle Director to join our team!

Purpose:

The Latitude Margaritaville Lifestyle Director's (The Ambassador of Fun) primary responsibility is to create and drive consistent and innovative Latitude Lifestyle programs for residents of Latitude Margaritaville. While applying company-wide initiatives, the Ambassador of Fun will take the lead on lifestyle programming on their home property. The Ambassador will develop and implement activities and programming in a full range of services that appeal to those in the 55+ and better community. The Ambassador shall create innovative and exceptional programming that holds true to core lifestyle as well as creating locally specific events and programs.

The person in this position should exercise good judgement and exceptional problem-solving skills. They must possess a positive demeanor and be able to multi-task in this fast-paced environment.

As the face of lifestyle programming, maintaining positivity and diplomacy in a fast-paced environment is critical. The Ambassador is accountable to the community assistant general manager and is expected to create and execute exceptional programming while bringing the "fun" to the community.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Leadership:

  • Possess strong communication skills and ability to give presentations, lead meetings/group activities, and actively participate in resident events. This may involve working in the evening as needed.
  • Keep current with industry concepts, practices, procedures and fully align with the Latitude Margaritaville brand.
  • Demonstrate ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and initiate appropriate courses of action.
  • Exercise a positive attitude and remain professional under all circumstances.
  • Develop locally driven ideas and initiatives while ensuring alignment with brand strategies and the defined Latitude Lifestyle.
