    Description

    Osborne Trails is a multi-acre active adult residential community offers a wide range of amenities, including a state-of-the-art Retreat, natural spaces, trails, sports courts, pool, fitness center and classes, a variety of social activities, along with clubs and organizations. As the Community Lifestyle Director, you'll be the driving force behind an engaging and vibrant resident experience! From planning exciting events and innovative programs to building meaningful relationships with residents, volunteers, clubs, committees, and vendors, you'll create opportunities that bring people together and enrich everyday life.     Position Responsibilities:

    • Partner with AAM’s management to identify, coordinate and market all community events, programs and services.
    • Oversee support staff and facilitators to ensure facilities, events, classes and customer service meet the needs of the owners/residents.
    • Develop an active volunteer program among residents, solicit input and involvement from residents to stimulate awareness and participation.
    • Coordinate and utilize the Lifestyle Committee as the primary owner interface with the owners/residents in establishment of community volunteers and involvement.
    • Work with residents to assist in the establishment of chartered clubs.   
    • Secure all entertainment, food, decorations, and items necessary to carry out events.
    • Oversee the operation of the membership desk and/or retail counter as applicable to ensure adequate staffing, policy and procedure implementation and administration, asset control and required documentation. 
    • Oversee the New Resident Orientation.
    • Attend Board, club and committee meetings.
    • Assess overall success of events through feedback and evaluations.
    • Perform other duties as directed.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Ability to design and coordinate programs that enrich the quality of life and enhance the vibrancy and overall experience of living within an HOA Community.
    • Effective and dynamic public speaking skills. 
    • Effective interpersonal and communication skills paired with high energy, initiative, and enthusiasm.
    • Computer proficiency with respect to Microsoft Office Suite, database software, internet and website portals, point of sale system, registration processes, policies and procedures, equipment, material and products, etc.
    • Ability to lead people and get results through others.
    • Ability to interact and work positively and effectively with staff, volunteers and board members at all organizational levels.
    • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions, changes and delays while remaining focused.
    • Ability to problem-solve while exercising good judgment and decision making.

    Physical Demands & Work Environment:

    • Position involves sitting, standing, and movement throughout the day.
    • Must be able to lift, carry and manage equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds.
    • Utilizing a computer in an office setting.
    • Physically able to work indoors or outdoors in varied weather conditions.
    • Use a ladder and participate in and train others in the rules of activities.
    • Capable of working extended hours, to include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
