JOB SUMMARY
Safely and efficientlyoperatea ski lift,assistguests in safely loading and unloading the chairlift,conductcrowd controlatlift lines,andenthusiasticallyand professionallyinteract with guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Safely and efficientlyoperateaski lift
Be attentive at the load and unload terminals; watching not only ramp, but all areas around your station
Performopening procedures at the ski lift andliftmaze
Assistingguests of all ages and abilities to load and unload chairliftssafely
Enthusiastically interact with guestsat every opportunity
Prepare andmaintaina safeand aesthetically pleasingworkspace throughout the day as conditions change (shoveling, raking, moving snow)by completing physically demanding tasks
Complete requireddocumentationsuch as daily logs and other documents as needed,legibly and accurately
Workindependently or in groups toaccomplishdaily job-related tasks
Maintain the lift chairsby removingsnow,ice, and precipitationfor guests
Performclosing procedures at the ski lift andliftmaze
Conduct/managecrowdcontrolin lift mazes
Present yourself with aprofessional appearance and demeanor
Be respectful to all employeesand guestsat all times
Follow all skiing policiesand codes
Must be dependableand reliable

KNOWLEDGE,SKILLAND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
Must be 18 or older
Ski/Snowboard experience preferred
Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Must be self-motivated and able to maximize use of time and resources
Previouslift operation experience desired
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
This position isto workearlymornings,evenings,weekends,holidays, and long hourswhile in operation.
Be able to work flexible work schedules
Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move a minimum of50pounds on an occasional basis.
Performrepetitive tasks
Ability to work for extended periods of time standing,bending, reaching,speaking, and sittingon a constant basis.
Working outside in extremecold weather, in rain,and changingconditions forlong periodsof time
Comfortable with ridingallchairlifts and being at heights
