• Full-time with scheduled on-call rotation

ROLE IMPACT
Support reliable operation of light commercial HVAC systems through skilled diagnostics, repairs, controls troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. This role requires a technician who can work independently in commercial environments, identify equipment issues efficiently, and complete service work with accurate documentation.
KEY DUTIES
• Diagnose and repair rooftop units (RTUs), Variable Air Volume (VAV) systems, split systems, and packaged HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and low-voltage control systems using schematics, meters, and standard diagnostic procedures.
• Complete preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, filter and belt replacement, and coil cleaning.
• Document service activity and communicate equipment conditions, repairs, and recommendations to appropriate contacts.
• Maintain service tools and equipment and participate in an on-call rotation as scheduled.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 3+ years of hands-on commercial HVAC service experience with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities.
• EPA Universal Certification; working knowledge of RTUs, VAV systems, electrical schematics, and low-voltage HVAC controls.
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record and the tools, gauges, and meters needed to perform commercial HVAC service.

• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs, climb commercial roof ladders, work comfortably on flat/pitched roofs, and tolerate varying outdoor weather conditions.
EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Work includes commercial HVAC equipment, electrical components, controls, gauges, meters, and standard service tools.
• Field-based work at commercial properties throughout the assigned service area.
PREFERRED SKILLS
• NATE Certification or comparable advanced HVAC training.
• Commercial HVAC manufacturer training.
• Strong preventive maintenance documentation and customer communication skills.
