Light Equipment Operator

Job Description PSS LLC is currently taking applications for Light Equipment Operators for a 2,500-acre Data Center project located in Hubbard, Texas between Dallas and Waco. This role will operate light motorized equipment to support the maintenance of the site acreage, access roads, and facilities. Job Type: Project based Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour Duration & Schedule: 2-year project duration; 5-6 days per week, 10 hours per day Per Diem: $95 per day worked with 7-days paid if full weekly schedule is worked. Must live 65 miles or greater from the site. Responsibilities Operate skid-steers and small front-end loaders to move earth, gravel, garbage and construction materials safely. Operate forklifts to move materials around the worksite. Mow expansive acreage and clear brush using tractor-mounted mowers to maintain site visibility. Run compactor rollers to repair, maintain, and stabilize temporary haul roads and parking areas. Manipulate diverse attachments such as buckets, forks, and augers depending on daily support needs. Perform daily inspections on machinery, checking fluid levels, tires, tracks, and safety systems. Report mechanical defects immediately to the maintenance supervisor to prevent equipment downtime. Clean and grease equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and longevity in dusty conditions. Navigate active zones with extreme caution around ground workers, utility lines, and heavy truck traffic. Assist site service labor teams with manual labor tasks when equipment is not actively in operation. Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for everyone on site.
