The Chippewa Falls School District is seeking a light housekeeper/laundry attendant at the Middle School. This is a full-time, 12 month, 8 hours/day position working 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Regular and Reliable Attendance
- Receives and sorts clothes and linens according to fiber, color and soiled condition
- Special care to sport uniforms and proper cleaning methods
- Operates washers and dryers in accordance with safety standards
- Proper use of cleaning chemicals and safe handling
- Insures towels are picked up in locker rooms areas and restock after cleaning
- Launders District rags for distribution
- Supplies recommended quantities of detergents and bleaches
- Folds, wrap, or replaces completed laundry
- Mend clothing as needed
- Clean and organize all district owned physical education clothing
- Operates Sweeper/Scrubber
- Manage lost and found items
- Coordinate with chemical vendor to maintain proper cleaning products and dispensing units for laundry area
- Ensures dryer lint traps are cleaned daily
- Maintains laundry room and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
- Reports machinery problems to maintenance
- Observes maintenance and cleaning needs for the area assigned and reports those irregularities to Maintenance
- Performs related work as required, sweeping, mopping, operate hand/power equipment, cleanup of bodily fluids
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, wash windows and dishes
- Clean and disinfect offices, conference rooms, bathrooms and Nurse's stations
- Ensure entrances are clear of debris, snow ice, and in safe condition
- Other duties as assigned
