Job Summary

This role supports the movement of materials and equipment between the company, warehouses, and customers. The person will help manage inventory, shipping, imports, exports, and ensure all shipments are properly documented and comply with company and government regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound (incoming) and outbound (outgoing) shipments.
  • Track inventory locations using the company's inventory system (Legacy system).
  • Prepare equipment quotations for customers.
  • Stay updated on company policies and import/export regulations (PSI Program, Anexo 24, Article 303).
  • Ensure import and export documents are complete and accurate.
  • Communicate regularly with:
    • U.S. Warehouse
    • Shipping Department
    • Freight/Transportation companies
  • Coordinate shipment pickups and deliveries on time.
  • Update raw material cost information in the inventory database.
  • Maintain daily reports on import/export activities, including shipment departures, arrivals, and customs inspections.
  • Monitor shipments from departure to final destination and keep all stakeholders informed.
  • Maintain truck safety seal records and follow C-TPAT security requirements.
  • Prepare monthly and annual import/export reports for the Accounting Department and government reporting (SECON).
  • Inspect products using quality checklists and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Record inventory transactions accurately.
  • Perform basic adjustments to work area equipment or systems when needed.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 0 1 year of related experience (entry-level candidates are welcome).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions and procedures.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge or experience in logistics, shipping, warehouse, or inventory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership potential and ability to work well with others.
  • Experience with import/export processes is a plus.
