Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Houston, TX (100% Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months Contract (Temp to Hire)
Pay range: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour on W2
Shift Schedule: 1st Shift (5:00 am – 1:30 pm Monday to Friday)
Job Description:
- The Machine Operator role shift is from 5:00 am – 1:30 pm Monday to Friday.
- Occasionally there may be overtime and work on Saturday.
Responsibilities:- Operates fabricating machines, such as cutoff saws, shears, rolls, brakes, presses, forming machines, spinning machines and punch, that cut, shape, and bend metal plates, sheets, tubes, and structures.
- Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
- Positions, stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template.
Must Have:- Machine operation experience
- Manufacturing or production experience
- Ability to read job specifications/work instructions
- Ability to lift and handle materials
