Light Industrial - Warehouse Associate

Location: Whitehall, MI - 1010 S. Mears Ave.

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our client's team in the industrial sector. In this role, you will contribute to supporting daily warehouse and inventory operations, assisting internal customers, and maintaining a well-organized storeroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare items requested for pickup
• Assist internal customers at the service counter
• Verify incoming inventory and stock items in proper locations
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe storeroom environment

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of recent, stable work history (no gaps over 3 months)
• At least 6 months of customer service experience
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and work ethic
• Ability to learn product information quickly
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or inventory experience
• Basic computer/data entry skills
• Experience working with parts, tools, or supply inventory
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Salary & Benefits

Starting pay is $17.75 per hour with a $1.00 increase up to $18.75 after moving to the 2nd shift.
