Job Title: Welder
Location: Pearland, TX (Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Pay Range: $20.00 - 24.63 Per hour

Job Description:

Perform welding tasks in the manufacture of products to conform with specifications and certification requirements
Weld production and more difficult prototype instrumentation piece parts in various materials including stainless steel.
Precious and semi-precious metals using various types of welding processes which may include TIG and/or MIG
May operate program welding machine to weld production units
Set up fixtures and Client out work for production and prototype piece parts
Trouble shoot problem welding areas
May train other welders and/or provide welding support to others as needed
May work with various internal departments to establish welding process parameters
Welds must pass destructive and non-destructive testing based on certification requirements per individual product
Participate in continuous improvement processes
Recommend changes to and participate in the review of manufacturing procedures
Perform daily organization and cleanup of work area
Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions and incidents to supervision
Perform work of a miscellaneous nature as required

Must Have:

Three (3) years of related welding experience
Must obtain and maintain individual welding qualification and certification per product requirements
Trouble shoot problem welding areas
Previous experience with TIG and/or MIG
Welder must pass destructive and non-destructive testing based on certification requirements per individual product
