PCSI is looking for a Light/Medium Truck Driver Lead at Edwards AFB. A Light/Medium Truck Driver Lead Operate assigned light and medium straight trucks, under 1 ½ tons, usually with 4 wheels and straight trucks 1 ½ to 4 tons, usually 6 wheels, in accordance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements. This position will report to the Project Manager and is based at Edwards AFB.
Base pay of $36.88hr

What You'll Do as Light/Medium Truck Driver Lead:
Participation in the Performance Evaluation program is required.
- Operate assigned light and medium straight trucks, under 1 ½ tons, usually with 4 wheels and straight trucks 1 ½ to 4 tons, usually 6 wheels, in accordance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
- Transport materials, equipment, documentation, property, and personnel between assigned facilities, warehouses, work centers, customer locations, and other designated sites.
- Load, unload, and secure property and equipment to support safe and timely transport.
- Complete routine vehicle checks, including oil, water, tire pressure, and general operating condition, and report maintenance needs as required.
- Complete required vehicle, delivery, receipt, pickup, and property documentation accurately and within established time frames.
- Deliver and pick up property within prescribed time limits, verify required documentation, and obtain receipts from authorized personnel.
- Document delivery exceptions, including instances when property cannot be signed for within required time frames.
- Follow all applicable local, state, federal, company, and customer safety requirements while operating vehicles and handling property.
- Provide proficiency training and guidance to co-workers as assigned.
- Perform basic warehousing duties, general housekeeping, and related support tasks.
- Use assigned software, hardware, and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to complete job duties.
- Receive direction from supervisors, leads, or other designated personnel to complete non-routine assignments.

What You'll Need:
- âââHigh school diploma or GED.
- âValid Class C state driver's license required.
- âExperience in Air Force materiel management preferred. ââ
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- âââProficiency with word-processing and integrated software applications.
- âAbility to assist and communicate with others as needed and establish effective working relationships.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- ââSelf-starter, able to work with minimal direction and supervision.ââ
- âAbility to communicate effectively with CORs regarding Materiel Management functions of the PWS.ââ

- âââAbility to safely lift and carry at least 40 pounds.
- âââââââAbility to pass criminal, financial, drug, and driving screening.
- âââAbility to workâ¯outside inâ¯inclement weather as needed and be exposed to various dirt, debris, and odors.â¯â¯â¯
