Position Overview
Energy Dynamics is seeking a reliable and hardworking Lighting Installation Helper to support our field teams and subcontractors with LED lighting upgrade projects. This is a hands-on role that involves job site support, material handling, and warehouse assistance. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist subcontractors with LED lighting installation projects at commercial job sites
- Transport lighting materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites
- Remove existing lighting fixtures and assist with installation prep
- Collect, organize, and dispose of old fixtures, lamps, and job site debris
- Ensure proper recycling and disposal of materials in accordance with company standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites during and after installation
- Support warehouse operations, including organizing inventory, unloading shipments, and general upkeep
- Assist with loading/unloading trucks and staging materials for upcoming projects
- Perform other general labor tasks as assigned by the Installation Manager
- Document work completed and assist with job reporting
- Provide professional interaction with customers when on-site
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in construction, electrical, or general labor is a plus but not required
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work throughout the day
- Comfortable working on ladders and in various indoor/outdoor environments
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable transportation required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Clean driving record required
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team

Physical Requirements

Preferred (Not Required)
- Basic electrical or construction experience
- OSHA 10 certification
- Experience with lighting or low-voltage systems
Work Environment
- Field-based role (job sites vary daily)
