Sartell Middle School 7th and 8th Grade Fall Musical - Lighting/Sound
Job Description:
Works with a group of students to:
- Know the show
- Design the show by setting the mood and tone of the show
- Set lights
- Focus lights
- See light cues
- Create Prompt Book for the booth
- Maintain lighting and sound equipment
- Buy batteries, bulbs, and mic tape
- Teach students proper care and usage of microphones
- Organize storage, sound checks, and mic levels
- Teach students how to operate sound board, light board, and spotlights
- Responsible for on the spot problem solving
- Work with Music Director on running music tracks for the show
- Find and program all sound effects for the show
- Return everything to preset at Strike including proper microphone storage and coordinating with the Costume Designer to wash the mic belts
Pay Schedule: Based on Extra-Curricular, Co-Curricular and Other Activity Assignments Schedule
