Cross-Trained Limited X-Ray Technician / Medical Assistant
South Coast Medical Group Orange County is a private medical practice offering family medicine and urgent care services. We are seeking a skilled, dependable Limited X-Ray Technician who is cross-trained as a Medical Assistant to join our team.
This full-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of clinical responsibilities, works well in a busy practice, and takes pride in providing compassionate, professional patient care. We provide training for candidates who have good work ethics and are not familiar with some of the procedures we perform.
Pay: $28–$35 per hour, depending on certification and experience

Responsibilities
•     Perform X-rays within the scope of your license.
•     Room patients, obtain vital signs, and accurately document patient information.
•     Perform EKGs, administer injections as directed, and conduct drug screens.
•     Assist with casting, splinting, and workers' compensation visits.
•     Support patient triage by gathering information and promptly communicating concerns to the provider.
•     Relay provider-approved instructions and results to patients clearly and professionally.
•     Answer phones, schedule appointments and follow-ups, and respond to patient inquiries.
•     Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
•     Work collaboratively with providers and staff to support efficient patient care.

Qualifications
•     Current, applicable Limited X-Ray Technician license.
•     Medical Assistant training; certification preferred.
•     Experience in family medicine and/or urgent care.
•     Proficiency in the clinical duties listed above.
•     Strong medical knowledge, communication skills, and attention to detail.
•     Comfort using computers and electronic medical records.
•     Ability to prioritize responsibilities, respond professionally to patients, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
