We conduct 7-year background check and perform a drug test prior to employment. You must be 18 years old and have reliable transportation.
Composite Toe work shoes are required prior to starting.
Work is performed indoors with occasional outdoor duties.
Requires extended walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
This is a direct-hire opportunity with Sizemore, Inc., working onsite inside a major, well-known distribution/fulfillment center.
Must follow all site safety policies and procedures.
Detail Cleaner:
The Detail Cleaner is responsible for performing thorough and detailed cleaning services throughout assigned facilities to ensure a clean, sanitary, safe, and professional environment. This role focuses on deep-cleaning tasks, high-touch surfaces, hard-to-reach areas, and detailed appearance standards that exceed routine housekeeping expectations. The Detail Cleaner will support and demonstrate the company's core values through reliability, safety, quality workmanship, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Perform detailed cleaning of offices, common areas, restrooms, breakrooms, production areas, and other assigned spaces.
Deep clean floors utilizing vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, buffing, and other floor care techniques as required.
Dust, wipe, and sanitize high-touch surfaces, equipment, fixtures, vents, baseboards, walls, ledges, doors, and furniture.
Clean interior glass, windows, partitions, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
Perform detailed restroom sanitization including toilets, sinks, urinals, partitions, fixtures, dispensers, and floors.
Detail-clean breakrooms, kitchens, and eating areas, including appliances, cabinets, countertops, tables, and seating areas.
Remove buildup, stains, debris, and dirt from hard-to-reach or overlooked areas.
Restock cleaning supplies, paper products, soap dispensers, and other consumables as needed.
Properly identify, label, store, and utilize cleaning chemicals according to company and OSHA standards.
Operate specialized cleaning equipment including scrubbers, buffers, extractors, backpack vacuums, and pressure washing equipment as assigned.
Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met and address deficiencies promptly.
Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, damaged equipment, and facility issues to supervisors.
Maintain cleaning equipment in a safe, clean, and operational condition.
Follow all company, customer, and safety policies and procedures.
Perform additional cleaning projects and duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
May be required to work overtime.
Work may be inside or outside in various building and weather conditions.
Extensive walking or standing for extended periods of time.
Lifting/carrying items generally weighing 50 lbs. or less. Walking/standing (85-90% of the shift), going up and down stairs, bending, stooping and reaching.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Previous commercial cleaning, janitorial, housekeeping, or detail cleaning experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleaning standards.
Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Reliable attendance and flexibility to switch tasks as needed.
