Beau's Grille Fine Dining Restaurant is hiring a line cook full time. Located inside the DoubleTree by Hilton Akron/Fairlawn Hotel at 3180 West Market St. Fairlawn, OH.

  • Prior 1 year kitchen prep and/or line experience

Summary:

As a line cook in the prep/pantry department, you will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing ingredients and maintaining high standards of food quality. Reporting to the head chef, you will utilize your core skills in food preparation, cooking, and knife skills to assist in meal preparation and food service. Your experience in the culinary field, along with any dietary department knowledge, will enhance our menu offerings. Responsibilities:

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, prepare meat, sauces, soups)
  • Cook, saute, grill, fry, bake menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Follow recipes, measure properly
  • Ensure professional plate presentation and excellent taste
  • Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef's instructions
  • Stock inventory appropriately, rotating stock and marking product correctly
  • Manage multiple orders properly with high quality and in a timely manner
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Clean area throughout shift as needed and requested
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
  • Work as a team
