Line Cook

La Strada Italian Kitchen & Bar is looking for a motivated and dependable Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate takes pride in preparing quality food, works well in a fast-paced environment, and maintains high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to La Strada’s recipes and quality standards.
• Set up and stock the assigned station before service.
• Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards.
• Keep the workstation clean, organized, and properly stocked throughout service.
• Work efficiently with the kitchen team during busy periods.
• Follow portioning, presentation, and preparation guidelines.
• Assist with prep work and other kitchen duties as needed.
• Communicate effectively with the Chef and kitchen team.
• Help maintain a positive, professional, and respectful kitchen environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous line cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
• Sauté experience in Italian cuisine 
• Strong attention to detail and consistency.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
