Responsibilities

As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for completing all assigned prep work, setting up the cook’s station, maintaining product presentations, product quality, and cook time standards, and preparing all menu items according to the restaurant’s recipes, plate presentations, and specifications. Duties of this position will include the setup of equipment, verification of stock, the cleaning of cooking equipment, and preparing food items to specification while maintaining a clean work area. As a member of the Kitchen Team, you will cross-train and learn other stations and positions in the Kitchen.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in the Casual Restaurant industry, preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• Current alcohol and food certifications that meet state requirements are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds. 

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and carry items up to 70 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods (up to an entire shift)
• Bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull regularly for operations, stocking, and equipment use
• Use ladders occasionally for maintenance checks
• Work in varying environments including hot kitchen areas and walk‑in coolers/freezers
• Operate POS systems, kitchen equipment, computers, and other standard devices
• Communicate clearly with employees, guests, vendors, and leadership teams
