Role Description

\n

The Line Cook is a full-time/part-time, on-site role at our Dearborn Heights location. You'll prepare and cook menu items to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines, manage portion control, and keep dishes moving during service. Daily responsibilities include station setup/breakdown, coordinating with the kitchen team during service, inventory rotation, proper food storage, and maintaining a clean, safe, organized station. You'll work closely with our team to support smooth service and consistent quality.

Requirements

• \n
• Minimum 1-2 years experience working in a food production facility, fast-paced restaurant, etc. preferred
• \n
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• \n
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• \n
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality food
• \n
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• \n
• Great communication and teamwork skills
• \n
• Comfortable reading recipes using standard US measurements (cups, oz, lbs)
• \n
• Experience with Middle Eastern cuisine and/or Arabic language skills a plus
• \n
• Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
• \n
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, including late shifts.
