Line Cook/Dishwasher (Part-Time)

Position Summary:
GolfSuites Lubbock is seeking a reliable and motivated part-time Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining cleanliness, food safety, and consistency. This role also supports dishwashing operations as needed to ensure smooth kitchen flow. This position is essential to delivering an excellent guest experience and supporting overall kitchen operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items according to GolfSuites standards

Maintain proper food safety and sanitation practices

Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency

Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at the line

Keep the kitchen and workstations clean and organized

Operate dishwashing equipment and wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish area and kitchen

Properly dispose of trash and recycling and maintain sanitation standards

Assist with kitchen prep and closing duties as assigned

Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house team members

Follow all company policies and health regulations

Requirements:

  • Food Handlers Permit REQUIRED
  • Friday-Sunday availability is required!!
  • Demonstrate energy and enthusiasm
  • Ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication, time management and organization skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work on and as a team
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions for extended periods
  • Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods including maneuvering up and down stairs
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lb.
  • Ability to stoop and bend

Compensation:
$14.00 per hour
