The Cork 1794 is currently searching for an experienced Line Cook to join our team! If you are passionate about creating exceptional dining experiences in a scratch kitchen, through grill and saute this position is for you.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of previous experience as a restaurant cook preferred
• ServSafe or Food Handler’s certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Communication Skills
• Ability to lift 30+ pounds
• Availability to work the weekends
• Ability to work standing for 8+ hours

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure high standards and safe and sanitary food-handling practices
• Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock
• Season and cook food according to recipes
• Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
• Respond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism
