Garden Catering, known for its mouth-watering chicken nuggets and family-friendly atmosphere, is looking for a highly skilled Line Cook- Food Service/Restaurant to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our menu items are prepared, cooked, and served to perfection for our guests.
Line Cook- Food Service/Restaurant Responsibilities:
- You will be trained to work on both fry and grill stations in our kitchen
- Cook our menu items to order according to standard recipes, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Clean as you go during the shift to maintain organization in your workspace
- Take out the trash
- Prep and portion ingredients
- Operate and clean kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, slicers, and sharp knives
- Communicate and collaborate with the entire team to create a smooth shift, every shift.
Line Cook- Food Service/Restaurant Requirements:
- MUST be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to speak, write, and read English
- Previous experience as a line cook or similar role.
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high culinary standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
