Hudson’s Restaurant & Catering is building our culinary team for Nightmare Before Blitzen’s and Blitzen’s—our immersive Halloween and Christmas pop-up experiences.

We're looking for experienced cooks as well as motivated people who want to develop their kitchen skills.

You'll work in a fast-paced, creative environment featuring seasonal menus, packed dining rooms, over-the-top décor, specialty cocktails, and thousands of guests coming specifically to experience what we've created.

A Kitchen Where You Can Learn

Hudson’s is a teaching kitchen with more than 90 years of combined culinary experience among our ownership and management team.

Whether you're an experienced line cook or still developing your skills, there are opportunities to learn.

Depending on your experience, you can develop skills in:

• Grill, sauté, fry, and other stations
• Knife skills and prep
• Meat and seafood cookery

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and execute menu items according to Hudson’s standards
• Set up and maintain an organized station
• Prepare proper mise en place before service
• Maintain quality and consistency during high-volume shifts
• Follow recipes, portions, and plating standards
• Communicate with chefs and fellow cooks
• Restock and maintain station pars
• Assist with prep and production
• Maintain proper food handling and sanitation standards
• Keep your station clean and organized
• Jump in and help teammates when another station gets busy
• Take pride in every plate leaving your station

Who We’re Looking For

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, but we're willing to train motivated candidates who have the right attitude and work ethic.

You'll fit well with our team if you:

Culinary school is not required.

Hudson's Restaurant and Catering is a family owned and operated restaurant. The owners are brothers, JJ and Kevin Altomare graduated from The Culinary Institute of America and have been creating memorable dishes and experiences together for the past 20 years in Northeast Ohio. We currently offer lunch and dinner 6 days per week, as well as brunch on Saturdays. We also have created pop up bars for Halloween, Christmas, St. Patrick's and Celebrating America ! Nightmare Before Blitzen's, Blitzen's, O'Blitzen's and MERICA Bar. We love creating and sharing special menus, drinks and experiences with our guests!
