Responsibilities
- Comply with portion sizes, cooking methods, and quality standards based on recipes.
- Ensure the quality of all served products.
- Follow proper plate presentation with garnishes.
- Set up and restock the cook line at each shift start.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and equipment.
- Properly handle, store, and rotate products.
- Assist in closing the kitchen following checklists.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the chef.
- Maintain positive interpersonal skills and support team members.
- Maintain reliable attendance.
Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of food preparation and HACCP standards.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant cooking experience; high-volume or fast casual experience preferred.
- Knowledge of soups, sauté, fry, and pantry stations.
- Ability to read, understand instructions, and communicate effectively.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending and standing.
- Experience working with knives, utensils, hot surfaces, and in hot environments.
