Responsibilities
  • Comply with portion sizes, cooking methods, and quality standards based on recipes.
  • Ensure the quality of all served products.
  • Follow proper plate presentation with garnishes.
  • Set up and restock the cook line at each shift start.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and equipment.
  • Properly handle, store, and rotate products.
  • Assist in closing the kitchen following checklists.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the chef.
  • Maintain positive interpersonal skills and support team members.
  • Maintain reliable attendance.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Knowledge of food preparation and HACCP standards.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant cooking experience; high-volume or fast casual experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of soups, sauté, fry, and pantry stations.
  • Ability to read, understand instructions, and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending and standing.
  • Experience working with knives, utensils, hot surfaces, and in hot environments.
