What You'll Do

As a Line Cook, you'll help prepare high-quality meals while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients according to recipes and portion standards
  • Chop vegetables, prepare proteins, sauces, and other menu items
  • Cook food on the grill, sauté, fry, or assigned station during service
  • Ensure every dish meets quality, presentation, and temperature standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout each shift
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
  • Properly label, rotate, and store food using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices
  • Monitor inventory and notify management when supplies are running low
  • Work closely with front-of-house and back-of-house team members to ensure efficient service
  • Help maintain a positive, team-oriented kitchen environment

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, Grill Cook, or Station Cook in a high-volume restaurant
  • Strong knife skills and knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently during busy meal periods
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Food Handler's Card or ServSafe Certification preferred
  • Reliable, dependable, and committed to delivering quality food
