Job Summary:We are currently seeking an experienced, energetic, and team-oriented Full-Time Line Cook for its rewarding team.

Essential Functions:

Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specificationsExecutes service and production of food products for all/any areas of the kitchenRecognize quality standards in fresh vegetables, fish, dairy, and meat productsAssists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, and all storage areasPerforms additional responsibilities as requested by the Kitchen ManagerMaintain assigned workstation in a safe and sanitary conditionHandle food in a manner that is consistent with local health department guidelinesFollow proper food handling techniques and coordinates the use of time, material and equipment to avoid waste and unnecessary expenseMaintain acceptable standards of personal hygieneComply with department's dress codeFollow safety regulations, reporting injuries or any unsafe conditions and work practices to the supervisor

Attend in-service training and education sessions as assignedAbility to work a variety of shifts including weekends, mornings, evenings.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Well developed and multi-tasking, organizational skills, and detailed oriented.Ability to work in fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.Candidate must be dependable and reliable.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma and or equivalentBilingual in Spanish a plus, however, not required
