Line Cook

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring that the kitchen is clean and organized, and maintaining high levels of food quality and presentation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and standards
• Ensure that all food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and is of high quality and presentation
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including proper storage of food and equipment
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective operations
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role
• Knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
