Core Responsibilities
Execution
- Execute menu items to exact recipe, plating, and timing standards
- Deliver consistent quality under high-volume service
Station Ownership
- Set up, stock, and maintain a clean, organized station
- Complete prep accurately and efficiently; maintain proper pars
Food Safety & Quality
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and handling standards
- Ensure product quality, freshness, and proper rotation (FIFO)
Performance Under Pressure
- Maintain speed, accuracy, and composure during peak service
- Manage ticket flow and prioritize effectively
Team & Communication
- Communicate clearly with chefs and teammates
- Support overall kitchen operations and service flow
Accountability
- Follow direction, systems, and recipes without deviation
- Show up on time, in uniform, and ready to perform
Job Qualifications:
- minimum of 2-3+ years line cook experience in a high-volume kitchen
- Strong knife skills and foundational cooking techniques
- Ability to work clean, organized, and with urgency
- Reliable, coachable, and team-focused
License/qualifications
- current food handlers permit required
- must be available for nights, weekends and some holidays
- must be able to speak, read and understand menus and basic cooking directions
