Schedule / Horario: Weekday shifts as needed. Weekend and Sunday availability is required. Must be available for AM shifts starting at 6:30 AM and PM shifts starting at 3:00 PM. / Turnos entre semana según sea necesario. Job Summary

The Copperfield is hiring a reliable Line Cook / Prep Cook for its high-volume kitchen in Mendota Heights, MN. This role includes food preparation and line cooking. The ideal candidate works efficiently under pressure and maintains a clean, organized station.

Hiring Requirements

• Weekend and Sunday availability are required. This position includes weekday shifts, but weekends are the critical scheduling need. Candidates must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays, including some holidays. Applicants who cannot work Sundays should not apply.
• Professional kitchen experience is required. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Shift flexibility is required. Candidates must be available for both AM and PM shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Cooking and Food Prep: Prepare menu items and ingredients according to recipes, including breakfast items, burgers, steaks, salads, sauces, and dressings.
• Station Management: Work grill, sauté, and fry stations while keeping the workspace clean and organized.
• Teamwork: Communicate effectively with a diverse kitchen team to ensure smooth service during high-volume shifts.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements

• Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques, station workflow, and safe knife handling.
• Ability to read and execute tickets quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is a plus but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
