2nd Shift Line Cook

Pay: $17.00 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Schedule: Must be available to work weekends. Days off will typically occur during the weekdays.

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced and dependable Line Cook to join a fast-paced kitchen team. Candidates must have prior experience working in a busy restaurant environment and be comfortable working multiple stations, including fryer, sauté, and grill.

This is a from-scratch kitchen environment, meaning much of the food preparation involves carefully following recipes and preparing fresh ingredients rather than using pre-packaged or frozen products. Attention to detail, speed, teamwork, and food presentation are essential to success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and kitchen standards
• Work efficiently on assigned stations such as fryer, sauté, and grill
• Maintain consistency, speed, and quality during high-volume service periods
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Read and follow recipes accurately
• Take direction from kitchen leadership and work collaboratively with team members
• Ensure proper food presentation and portion control
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Line Cook in a high-volume restaurant required
• Experience working fryer, sauté, grill, or similar cooking stations
• Ability to read recipes and follow instructions accurately
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies as needed
