Big Fish is a high-energy, scratch-driven restaurant focusing on seafood, oysters, fried chicken, and elevated casual dining. We are seeking Line Cooks to prepare and execute high-quality menu items with consistency and speed.
Compensation: $18–$25 per hour, depending on experience. Start date: late June 2026.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to our recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
- Set up and stock workstations with necessary ingredients and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workspace in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Ensure food quality, taste, and consistency on every plate.
- Work efficiently to keep up with high volume while maintaining excellence.
- Follow the direction of the Head Chef and Sous Chef and collaborate with teammates.
- Assist with prep tasks as needed and maintain low waste and proper storage.
Qualifications
- Previous line cook experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and food safety practices.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
